I know our top picture is incredibly out of date - but I love it because it captures perfectly my life at one point. So it will stay.

Utah: Hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa Hanna's

When we go to Utah all my kids really want to do is just hang out at grandma and grandpa's house.  Who could blame them?  Here were some highlights:

Frosting our traditional gingerbread turkeys

Grandpa set up a shooting range in the backyard.  I am pretty sure Sam won the shooting contest on Thanksgiving day.

Ashley had some really cute Thanksgiving crafts for the kids to make.

These are some pictures of the kids in their hats.

My mom had us write things we were thankful for and then we read them and tried to guess who wrote them

The best part of the whole trip was this little lady.  Our newest niece Addie.  She stole our hearts and we all just loved passing her around.

This little girl actually healed my heart this week.  As you may remember from a previous post i had miscarried the day before we left for Utah.  So I was pretty emotional and not really myself.  I spent hours and hours holding her and she helped give me some closure.  I am grateful for Daniel and Angie for letting me spend so much time with her and letting me process all of my emotions.  She helped me to really know and solidify that I really do want another one.  I am grateful I got to bond with Addie - she will always have a special place in my heart.

We also played a lot of ping pong.  This is an intense game between Michael and Daniel.  They are pretty competitive and after a about 10 minutes me and my mom had to go inside because we couldn't take it anymore - we just want both of them to win!  In the end Daniel won.

My dad brought all of my grandma's jewelry from Price (she passed away in August) and let all the girls go through it.  My girls thought it was so fun and still wear most of her jewelry every week to church.

Our Thanksgiving tables

I love just hanging out with my family - especially my extended family.  Some of my earliest memories of feeling the spirit is just being around my extended family and knowing it was a good place to be.  I could just sit on the couch and listen to them for hours.

My mom got everyone jammies and I had to take a picture of me and Brook in our matching set!

Our best picture of the grandkids (and Milo) in their christmas jammies.

And the Hanna women!  I love my family and miss them like crazy.  It is hard being the only one away from home.

Not pictured:  The kids took Milo on several walks, my dad took the boys to a U basketball game, lots and lots of jumping on the tramp, playing in the play house,  and sleeping downstairs and watching a show before bed

Utah: Wheeler Farm

We went on a whole Hanna family outing to Wheeler farm one afternoon.  If you are a long time reader of my blog you know that Wheeler Farm is near and dear to my heart.

Jason was the only man that came along - he is such a trooper.  Now that we are the only one living away when we come and visit all the other men still have to go to work everyday - so he is left alone to come on our outings.
Which is great becasue Jason really enjoys kids and loves talking to them and answering their questions, I think he talked to Sam and Madison for about 15 minutes about Turkeys.

Grandma payed for a cow tractor ride!  Woo Hoo!

Brock just kept finding bigger and bigger sticks to carry around.

Talk about a family tree~!

They all tried to help Brock carry his biggest and last stick - but I don't think this constitutes as a stick anymore!

We ended the day playing at the park and having lunch.

Jason and the boys tossed around a football instead of playing at the park.

We got a shot of the sisters (and Addie).  I sure love them all and love spending time with them!
