I know our top picture is incredibly out of date - but I love it because it captures perfectly my life at one point. So it will stay.

Utah: Ben's blessing and Eddie's baptism

We were lucky enough to be in Utah for Eddie's baptism and Ben's baby blessing.  It was so fun to celebrate with them!

Daniel's family is so adorable.  I love watching it grow and seeing the kind of family they are creating.  We were all so glad when Danial finally got his son!  yay!

I love my grandma and glad I got to grab a picture with  her.  She is a large part of who I am, a really large part.  Good grandma's are priceless!

Utah: Outings

Becuase our trip to Utah was at the end of May all of our cousins were still in school during the days, so I took the kids on outings every morning, just us.  It was fun to take the babies to things my older kids did when they were their age.

We spent 2 whole days at Thanksgiving Point doing all of their farms/gardens/museums.  We lucked out and they were having a "dinosaur island" at one of their gardens - so that was awesome!

At first my older kids were like, "lame" but about 10  minutes in they were more enthralled than the babies.  Brock and Noah especially got into it and I ended up leaving them in the park for a few hours alone so they could find "all of them" (particularly the raptors).  I have found that teens and toddlers like the same things, they just don't know it.  If I can convince my teens to come they always end up having a good time.

Then the boys stayed at the dinosaurs, the girls went to the children's museum and I took the babies to the farm to RIDE A HORSE!  There are like 5 places in SLC to ride a horse as a child, but not one in Denver.  So I NEEDED them to have this chance. ha
But first the goats.  They were very friendly.

They were both unbelievably excited to ride a horse.  I mean.... so excited!

Had to take this picture.  I have several with different stages of children.

Here is one from over a decade ago. (that's baby Megan)

Then the next day we went back and we all went to the children's museum.  I obviously followed the babies around and the older kids did whatever, so I only have pictures of the babies.

except the girls did the rope course and went right over head, so I could grab a picture.

On another day we went to Jump Around Utah.  We all seriously love that place.

Utah: Real Game

One night everyone who wanted to went to the Real soccer game.  It was the first one we have been to and it was pretty fun.

The Bells are big fans so they let us borrow their swag.

Speaking of the Bells they were there too and came and visited us during half time.  This was one of my best "Karli" trips, we went walking at 6 am almost every morning while we were there.  I hope that is a new tradition of ours.  Karli still makes me a better person.

Utah: Out of School Party

When we left Mapleton we went to my mom's house and to our surprise this giant water slide was in her front yard, along with another bounce house for the littles.  She surprised all the grandkids with an epic out of school party. The kids played all afternoon and into the night.  There were games, water balloons, a snow cone maker - the awesomeness just kept coming and coming.

Plus we all got to snuggle with baby Ben.  We were in baby heaven.

The teens played a lot of basketball.

My mom bought all the cousins swimsuits for Easter.  Here they all are sporting their new suits. (except audge)  Pretty cute bunch.

Haha - teen boys are hilarious.

The little boys wanted to get in on the flexing action

And the littles are just adorable!!
