I know our top picture is incredibly out of date - but I love it because it captures perfectly my life at one point. So it will stay.

Fall sports

For the fall Madison played soccer, Brock had his first year of High School tackle football, Megan is  still in piano, and Noah did the school fall play.

This was our view watching Brock's football at the high school.

Sometimes the kids lounged on the mat.

We played a lot of football, cars, and rolling down the hill.

Brock is the one in the green socks.

Brock had a great growth season.  It was his first year of tackle football, which was obviously hard to go into high school football having never played.  When the first game came he never played.  He was pretty discouraged.  We figured he was third or fourth string.  Brock is used to being the best player on what ever team/sport he in playing.  As the games continued Brock continued not to play.  He decided this wasn't going to fly and he was going to make starter.  He went early to practice, stayed late, talked to the coaches, and tried to show them what he could do.  He was very dedicated.  By his fourth game they started putting him in fourth quarter (I would say if we were losing, they were always losing - the season was 0-10 and often shut out).  But he was still glad to get in. By his 7th game he went in 2nd quarter and stayed in all game.  And then started on the 8th, 9th, and 10th game.  He was so thrilled and we were so proud of him!

Then we were off to Maddie's soccer games.

Madison played on the same soccer team she has played on for a few years.  She has some friends from school, and also some girls from another ward.

She made a goal at the beginning of the year to make 12 goals all season, I think she ended up making 16.  She is a great soccer player.

Fall photo shoot

The leaves were beautiful and I was in the mood to take pictures and capture these cute babies of ours in this stage of their lives.  Enjoy!

A picture of Noah doing the same thing.

Fall Break Family Bike Ride

I wanted to do ONE family activity over fall break.  I wanted it to be something that everyone could participate in, I wanted it to be outdoors, maybe fall-ee, maybe active, maybe cheap, and maybe kind-pf hard.  Is that too much to ask?  Well, we did it.  We decided to take a bike ride along that Platte River Trail to a pumpkin festival.  It was only 3 miles, and it was a beautiful day.

The pictures do NOT capture the beauty.  The leaves look brown, they were yellow and bright and spectacular.

Phew, this is a picture when we got there.  Jason didn't ride with us, he lovingly drove the car there, so that they babies didn't have to ride back and I could rush them home for their naps.  Jason is the perfect "behind the scenes manager" that helps pull off my ideas and makes sure things run smoothly.

Once we got to Hudsen Gardens we walked around and looked at the pumpkins.

Then we ate some lunch and called it a day!
