Since we weren't going to Flaming Gorge this year the number one thing we wanted to do in Utah was go boating. We really wanted to go on grandpa's new boat. But after such a successful party at the Thomas' many of their teenage grand kids wanted to come with us and Bill's boat is bigger and can fit more people. So we decided to take his boat.
Bill and Grandpa took all the teenagers early in the morning (here we are gathering for a prayer before they leave) then Me, Dane and Eve went up and joined them later in the afternoon.
When it was time to leave to go boating Daniel was at grandma's house dropping something off and I convinced him to go boating with us. We had a great chat on the way up and was glad he got to play hookie from his life and do something fun.

Dane and Eve were so cute and not at all afraid of the water or boating - they wanted to tube the whole time and Dane was so sad to not get to ski (Bill didn't have ski's for him)
Dane kept standing up and shooting spider webs at us. He was so brave!
Then Eve started standing up!
They all got so brave! and then...
Surprise, Surprise. They didn't even care and wanted to keep going.
Maddie and Jack REALLY wanted to get dunked and so Bill went crazy. It was hard (the tube is designed to not get dunked) but Bill did it.
We just kept tubing and tubing into the evening. It was a perfect day on the lake.
We also wake surfed.
And Sam was SO KIND and did it with Dane and Eve. Sam is seriously the best.
And even though the water was rough I REALLY wanted slolum. I tried 6 times and never got up! It was very defeating.
So I had them throw out another ski and enjoyed a quick run on 2.
Dane jumped in the lake for a swim.
Mads took up back to the ramp.
