Utah: Hanging with Alex

 I could NOT have been more excited to have Dane and Eve in Utah with me for the first summer of no naps AND I didn't have all the older kids with me.  While I love having the older kids, I just got to go do all the fun outings and we could leave when ever we wanted and get back when ever we wanted.  It was the best!  Maddie could have come with us if she wanted (and she did sometimes), but she also stayed back at grandmas.  One day grandma took her shopping for her birthday and out to lunch. 

They went to Post Malone's restaurant 

She also helped grandpa a lot

 I also picked up Alex almost every time and took him with us while Katie worked.  That was so fun and I loved having him with us (I love taking extra kids with me where ever I go).

First stop: the dinosaur museum 

 

Then: farm country.  The NEW farm country.  It is still under construction.  It was pretty cool.

They also made a really cool park at farm country.  We didn't spend much time because it was 105 degrees.  We played a game while walking around looking at the animals to see if we could stay in the shade the whole time.  It was SO HOT!

One night we had Alex come sleep over at grandmas house with us.  We put the sprinkler under the tramp.

And had some smores.  

Sleep over!

Another day we went to temple square.  

 

Utah: Maddie and Grandpa

Maddie got a very unique opportunity to have some one on one time with Grandpa riding around in his new toy (I have no idea what it is called).  This was even the first time grandpa had taken it out off roading.  He let her drive the whole time.  She loved it - especially the sunset.
