Since moving to Colorado my children don't get to participate in many of the family traditions that I did growing up - like wedding and baby showers, weddings in general, baby blessings, missionary homecomings and farewells, graduations, etc. I want them to know about family support and love in these events - and to feel the tradition of these events.
While we were in Utah my cousin Michael was coming home from his mission in Alaska, and even though we had to be at the airport by like 8:00 am I was determined to take my kids to see him come home.
