Santa Party

Our annual Brown Santa Party was held at my mom's house this year. Here is some of the gang - it's about 50 people at the party.

Jason surprised me and sang for us. We all sing Christmas songs while we wait for Santa to come. We only know about 5 or 6 Christmas carols - so we just sing them over and over - and we are all terrible singers. I guess 6 years of that was enough for him - so he volunteered to sing some fancy-shmancy choir Christmas song - it was beautiful. I haven't really heard him sing since he was in Madrigals in High School - so it was a great Christmas treat for me!

Santa's book said that Noah likes cars and is "on the potty train".

Correction: WAS on the potty train. We have stopped. He was doing ok - was totally pee potty trained - but after 3 weeks had only pooed once on the potty - we had stayed inside for 3 weeks and we had a lot of plans for Christmas and I could not just let him poo everywhere. So we are taking a hiatus until the new year.

Oh - Brock, what a wonderful smile. Santa's book said he loves to play soccer, basketball, and football, and loves Santa and Christmas, and is a great big brother. All these things are true. Brock got a DVD of Frosty the Snowman and Rodolph from Santa. He is in love with it - and that is in no way an exaggeration. He has been brought to tears several times because he can not watch it for the FOURTH time that day. He carries the case around the house with him all day.

Megan didn't mind Santa. She was having a hard night - so we thought she would cry. But she just sat and stared. Santa's book said that Megan was learning to crawl and loves her brothers.
